NEW ORLEANS - The USTFCCCA released its final postseason academic awards from the 2025 track & field season and Centre was well represented, with both the men's and women's teams taking home All-Academic Team awards and seven individuals being named All-Academic Athletes.
All-Academic Team honors go to the teams that have maintained a total team cumulative GPA of 3.10 or higher through the end of the most recent academic term. Both of Centre's teams qualified for the honor with the men's team posting a GPA of 3.12 and the women's team finishing with a GPA of 3.32.
For the individual All-Academic award, student athletes must finish with a cumulative GPA of 3.30 or higher through the end of the most recent academic term, as well as ranking in the top 50 of their respective event (top 35 for a member of a relay), or participate in the NCAA Indoor or Outdoor National Championships. On the men's side, the Colonels had a pair of seniors qualify in
Dirk Gambrel and
Logan Isaacs. The Centre women had five All-Academic Athletes this season: Seniors
Janea Bottinelli and
Callie Gormley, and sophomores
Chloe Hein,
Serena McNeilly and
Amari Robinson.
