NEW ORLEANS - On Tuesday evening the US Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association released its All-Region teams for the 2025 outdoor season and for the Centre women, it was the biggest haul of such awards in program history as seven athletes combined for 18 All-Great Lakes Region honors.
The USTFCCCAÂ awards All-Region honors to any individual athlete who ranks in the top five in their region in their respective event at the end of the season, or top three in the region for relays.
Both of Centre's relay squads were given All-Region status. In the 4x100m,
Amari Robinson,
Janea Bottinelli,
Chloe Hein and
Madjo Doumbia combined for a time of 46.49 to set a school record at the SAA Championships, earning a spot in the NCAA Finals. In the 4x400, Bottinelli and Doumbia teamed with
Ainsley Wilson and
Faith Peterson to set a seasonal best time of 3:50.81 - another school record - at a last chance meet at Lee University on May 10.
In addition to their excellent season in the relays, Doumbia and Hein were each named All-Region in the 100m, 200m and long jump as Doumbia set school records several times over in 2025 in both the 100m and 200m, while Hein set a new school record in the long jump at a last chance meet at Liberty University on May 6. Both earned NCAA invites in a pair of events this weekend.
Finally,
Serena McNeilly was a four-time All-Region winner this season, receiving the award in the high jump, long jump, triple jump and heptathlon. McNeilly set school records this season in both the high jump and heptathlon, both set at the Berry Field Day and Multis, and qualified for the NCAA Championships in both the high jump and triple jump.
