GENEVA, Ohio - The final day of competition at the NCAA Outdoor Track Championships was another productive one for the Centre women as
Madjo Doumbia and
Serena McNeilly combined for three All-America honors in the Saturday session.
The first event of the afternoon for the Colonels was the 100m and Doumbia ran another outstanding race as she clocked in with a time of 11.63 to earn national runner-up honors, 0.01 seconds faster than the next finisher.
Doumbia's day was not done as she returned to the track a little over an hour later to race in the 200m. In that race, she posted a time of 23.97 to take fourth place, with her two top-8 finishes making her a two-time First Team All-American in her final collegiate meet.
The final event of the day was the women's triple jump and McNeilly outperformed her seed to make it into the overall top eight. On her fourth jump out of six, McNeilly hit a new personal best mark of 40-0.5 (12.2m) to lock up eighth place and her sixth career All-America honor, with four of them coming on the first team.
