CANTON, Ga. - For the third week in a row, Zara McCarthy has been named the Southern Athletic Association Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week.

In Centre's 1-0 win over Southwestern on Friday, McCarthy scored the winning goal in the 68th minute to keep the Colonels perfect in the SAA and extend her scoring streak to 5 games in a row.

In a 2-2 draw with Trinity on Sunday, McCarthy faced constant double and triple teams when Centre had possession. This allowed open scoring opportunities for others as Ellery Taylor and Mary Martin Hampton were able to score to help the Colonels earn an important point in the standings.

McCarthy and the Colonels will look to keep the momentum going on Friday when Maryville comes to Amend Field. Kickoff is set for 6:00pm.
