Danville, KY - Centre Swimming & Diving will send six to the NCAA Championships in Indianapolis, Indiana in mid-March.
Caroline Lee earned a spot after her stellar performance in the 50-yard freestyle at the SAA Championships.
Tiernan Moore is also going after dominant outings in the 100 and 200 breaststroke swim events.
This past weekend, Centre men's diving sent four to regionals at Emory University in Atlanta. On Friday,
Justin Toth won the 3-meter regional with a total score of 544.30 points, just 2.2 points off the Centre program record.
Garrett George placed 3rd with 505.55 points.
Rowan Fitzsimmons was 5th (478.40) and
Brandon Anderson placed 6th (460.75).
On Saturday, the quartet competed in the 1-meter final.
Justin Toth was the highest-finishing Colonel as he grabbed the runner-up spot with 474.85 points.
Garrett George was right behind in 3rd (466.10) with
Brandon Anderson in 5th (454.35) and
Rowan Fitzsimmons in 6th (442.15).
The combined results were more than enough for all four to make the cut and get the invite to the NCAA Championships. The 4-day event gets started on Wednesday, March 18th at the IU Natatorium in Indianapolis.
