ATLANTA - The Southern Athletic Association released its weekly awards for women's track & field and for the second week in a row, both weekly awards went to Centre with Track Athlete of the Week Abi Albright and Field Athlete of the Week Chloe Hein.

First-time Athlete of the Week Abi Albright raced in the 3000m at the Steemer Indoor Showcase at Wittenberg and established a new personal best mark with a time of 10:48.99, clearing her previous personal best time by over 45 seconds. Albright is currently ranked first in the conference in the 3000m among first-year runners.

Hein was named USTFCCCA Division III National Athlete of the Week after setting another school record in the long jump with a mark of 20-3 (6.17m). That added to her national lead in the event and was the fourth longest jump ever recorded in Division III Women's Track & Field. It is the third time this season that Hein has been named SAA Field Athlete of the Week.

Centre women's track will be idle this week and will return to action on Feb. 13 when they host the Centre Indoor Invite and Multis.
