JACKSON, Miss. - The Centre baseball team wrapped up its six-game road trip with a Saturday doubleheader against the Millsaps Majors. Both of this afternoon's games were close calls that went in favor of the home team by scores of 6-5 and 7-6, with the second game going into extra innings.
Game 1: Millsaps 6, Centre 5

Evan Weyler wound up on third following a Millsaps error. One batter later,
Chase Austin delivered an RBI single to put the Colonels on the board.
- In the fifth, the Colonels put two runners on without swinging the bat as
Forrest Day was hit by a pitch and
Ben Prather walked on four straight pitches. An error by the Majors allowed the tying run to cross the plate, and after
Aaron Lopez walked to load the bases, Weyler walked to give Centre the lead. A sacrifice fly from Austin gave the Colonels a 4-2 advantage.
