Danville, KY - Centre Men's Tennis wrapped up the 2026 home slate with Senior Day on Sunday as the Colonels celebrated the careers of
Ty Bush,
Ben Rueff, and
Chase Turley. In front of the biggest crowd of the season, Centre fought hard but fell to Southwestern, 6-1.
The Pirates swept the doubles matches, 6-0, 6-0, and 6-1 in quick order to take the first team point of the day.
Isaac Flanery was the only Colonel to pick up a win as he won a 3-setter in #4 singles. For the seniors,
Ty Bush fell in two competitive sets, 3-6, 7-6.
Ben Rueff also went to a 3rd set, but also lost his match 6-4, 0-6, 4-6.
Chase Turley also fell short in a 3rd set tiebreak.
In other singles action,
Dylan Dethridge fell in 3 sets, 3-6, 6-4, 3-6.
Tejas Ahuja lost in straight sets.
Centre finishes out the regular season with 4 critical road matches, starting next Saturday at Millsaps.
