Leah Jackson was named SAA Women's Lacrosse Defense Player of the Week, Conference officials announced Monday.
In a two-game span last week, Gracie had a total of 10 goals, with 3 Ground Balls and 1 Caused Turnover, showcasing her dominant ability to not only produce scoring runs on the offensive side but also add defensive pressure to break up the opposing side's offense.
In a two-game span last week, Leah had a total of 5 caused turnovers, 3 ground balls, and 2 draw controls. Her defensive pressure shone on senior day against Berry as she generated 4 out of the 5 caused turnovers to disrupt Berry's defense and help assist the team's offense with securing draw controls.
Gracie and Leah will join the colonels on their last road game of the season as they face off against Rhodes College before the conference tournament starts.
