Danville, Ky. – On Tuesday afternoon, the Centre Women's Lacrosse program was highlighted with five honorees on the 2026 CSC Academic All–District At–Large, selected by College Sports Communicators (CSC).
Representing Centre Women's Lacrosse amongst the honorees are senior
Leah Jackson,
Elizabeth Mitchell, and
Gracie Garner, as well as juniors
Megan Gilmour and
Riley Jackson. Each of the Colonels excelled both on the field and in the classroom.
To be nominated for the award, a student-athlete must be at least a sophomore academically and athletically with a minimum 3.5 grade-point average. Nominees must also compete in 90 percent of the institution's contests or must start in at least 66 percent of the contests. Only a select group of student-athletes, chosen by CSC committees, advance from Academic All-District submission status to the Academic All-America ballot.
