NEW ORLEANS - The US Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association announced its Outstanding Performer awards from this weekend's NCAA Division III Outdoor Finals and Centre's Chloe Hein was named Outstanding Female Field Performer after another exceptional weekend.

Via USTFCCCA guidelines: Winners are determined using a formula that adds together team points scored, plus meet records (five additional points), Division III seasonal bests (three additional points) and facility records (one point). Relay points, if applicable, are split equally among the four team members.

Hein won her second national championship in the long jump after setting yet another new Centre program record with a mark of 21-1.25 (6.43m), her best mark of the yesr. She also hit a pair of personal best marks during the triple jump, clearing 40 feet for the first time in her career and topping out at 40-2.75 (12.26m) to outperform her seed with a fifth place finish.
