ATLANTA - Earlier today the Southern Athletic Association released its weekly awards for week 7 of the 2025 football season and Centre junior Will Boehm was named Special Teams Player of the Week for games played through Oct. 19.

Boehm, who ranked eighth in the nation in yards per punt and third in net punting yardage entering last week's game, made a huge impact on Centre's 19-16 victory over Southwestern. Averaging just under 40 yards per punt for the night, Boehm pinned four of his punts inside the opposing 5-yard line, giving the Colonels a huge edge in field position all game long. Another one of his punts was muffed and recovered by Centre at the 5, setting up a touchdown for the Colonels two plays later.

Centre football will be on the road next week to take on Trinity.
