ATLANTA - The Southern Athletic Association released its weekly award winners for week 8 of the 2025 football season and for the second time this season, Centre's Cree Ross has been named Special Teams Player of the Week.

Against Trinity on Saturday, Ross again showed why he is one of the most dangerous players in the league with a football in his hands as after the game's opening touchdown, he took the ensuing kickoff and raced 93 yards to daylight for the tying score for the Colonels.

The All-American triple jumper has now returned a pair of kickoffs for touchdowns this season, with a third nullified by penalty. Ross last won Special Teams Player of the Week on Oct. 6 after a 103-yard kickoff return for a score against Millsaps.

Centre football will host Berry on Senior Day on Nov. 1.
