ATLANTA - The Southern Athletic Association released its weekly awards for volleyball and for the second time this season, Centre's Syd Bietz has been named Offensive Player of the Week, this time for games played through Nov. 2.

Bietz led the Colonels in multiple categories across a pair of wins this weekend against Oglethorpe and no. 13 Berry. She finished with a team high 18 kills in both matches, leading all players against Oglethorpe while also hitting .400 in that game. Bietz played a complete game, combining for 35 digs across the two games, including a 20-dig performance in the victory over the 13th ranked Vikings.

Centre volleyball will look to extend their winning streak to five games when they play in tournament action at Christopher Newport this weekend.
