The Collegiate Field Hockey Conference (CFHC) announced its All-Conference honors on Wednesday. Centre had four student-athletes receive recognition.
Claire Martin was named 1st Team All-Conference. The senior from Louisville led the Colonels in goals (9), points (22), and tied for the team-high with 4 assists. She also led the team with 3 game-winning goals. Martin started all 15 regular season games and finished tied for 3rd on the team with 857 minutes played. Her best scoring games came against Eastern Mennonite (2 goals, 1 assist) and a 2-goal performance in a CFHC opening win at Concordia Wisconsin. Her 35 shots on goal were also the most on the team, which carried a shooting percentage of 0.565.
Tori Drepaul and
Olivia Vonderheide earned 2nd Team honors. Drepaul started all 13 games she played and tied for the team-high with 4 assists. She was also a leader on a defense that allowed just 1.67 goals per game in the regular season and limited opponents to a shooting percentage of just 0.117. Vonderheide made the most of her freshman campaign, finishing 2nd on the team in goals (7), t-1st in assists (4) and 2nd in points (18), to go with 2 game-winning goals. She turned in 2 of the standout offensive performances of the season. Against Roanoke, she tallied a hat trick and an assist in a 4-0 win. She also scored twice with 2 helpers in a 5-0 win over Eastern Mennonite.
Hannah Miller was named to the All-Sportsmanship team. She finished the regular season with 3 goals and 1 assist, but also provided clean, steady leadership in 370 minutes played, and has been a positive force when on the field and on the bench. Her work behind the scenes has been a critical piece to Centre's success in the 2025 season.
The Colonels now get set for postseason play and an opening round matchup in the CFHC Tournament against Sewanee. The action starts on Thursday at Noon from Fond du Lac, Wisconsin and can be viewed by clicking
