DANVILLE, Ky.- On Friday evening, Centre women's lacrosse hosted Baldwin Wallace for their 2025 home opener. The Colonels faced a setback, falling to the Yellow Jackets by a score of 15-4.
HIGHLIGHTS
- Baldwin Wallace got off to a dominant start, opening with eight unanswered goals.
Sophia Richardson put Centre on the board with an unassisted goal that closed the first period. The Yellow Jackets added one additional point in the second frame, adjusting the score to 9-1 entering halftime.

Catherine Zeek initiated the second half with a man-up goal during a power play left over from the second period. Baldwin Wallace answered with four goals to take the game into running clock entering the final frame, the score reading 13-2.
- Both teams tallied two goals in fourth period.
Haley Rice joined the scoring column first while Richardson claimed the last. When regulation ran out, the score read Baldwin Wallace 15, Centre four.
