DANVILLE, Ky.- On Saturday afternoon, the Centre men's lacrosse team hosted Kenyon. After a slow start, the Colonels' rally fell one point short with a final score of 12-11.
GAME HIGHLIGHTS
- The Owls controlled the game in the opening frame, netting five goals before
Ben Hubbs put Centre on the board. Kenyon followed with one more point to close the first period's scoring at 6-1, the Owls favoring.

Graysen Jolly claimed the Colonels' two points in the second quarter. The first came six minutes in with the assist of
David Caldwell, the second, an assisted goal nearing halftime. The Owls answered Jolly's 2-0 run with the final goal of the half, moving the score of 7-3.
- Out of the break, the Colonels made it a game, outscoring the Owls 5-2 in the third quarter.
Noah Malubay initiated a 5-0 tare that gave Centre their first lead of the game. Hubbs netted the next point followed by
Max Speers, then Caldwell. The scoring stretch was closed with Jolly's third goal of the game. The Owls netted a pair of goals in the final 90 seconds of the period, adjusting the score to Kenyon nine, Centre eight.
- The final period was a back-and-forth affair. Hubbs claimed a hat-trick with the first goal, but the Owls hit back with a pair to regain the lead. The Colonels answered in similar style as Speers and Jolly netted two successively to tie it back up. In the final 75 second, the Owls placed one more shot that set the final score at 12-11, Kenyon favoring.
