Danville, Ky. – On Tuesday afternoon, the Centre Men's Lacrosse program was highlighted with four honorees on the 2026 CSC Academic All–District At–Large, selected by College Sports Communicators (CSC).
 
Representing Centre Men's Lacrosse amongst the honorees are seniors Conner Maggard and Nick Witcher, as well as junior Nico Valentino and Sophomore Jack Forrester. Each of the Colonels excelled both on the field and in the classroom.
 
To be nominated for the award, a student-athlete must be at least a sophomore academically and athletically with a minimum 3.5 grade-point average. Nominees must also compete in 90 percent of the institution's contests or must start in at least 66 percent of the contests. Only a select group of student-athletes, chosen by CSC committees, advance from Academic All-District submission status to the Academic All-America ballot.
