ATLANTA - Ben Rueff and Chase Turley of Centre men's tennis picked up the final Southern Athletic Association (SAA) Doubles Players of the Week honor of 2025, the league announced Tuesday.  

Ben Rueff and Chase Turley won the no. 2 match versus Piedmont last week, their first victory together of 2025, with a 6-3 tally over Leyton Dunn and Bryce VanOrder. They then won their second-straight match as a pair with a 7-5 triumph over Gil Weston and Quinn Wicklund in the no. 2 match against no. 22 Sewanee. That pairing for the Colonels is 2-2 this season.

The SAA Tournament is the next challenge for the Centre team. The fifth-seeded Colonels will take on the no. 4 seeded Berry Vikings on Friday, April 25 at 1 p.m.
