ATLANTA - For the second consecutive season, 40 minutes were not enough to determine the winner between Centre men's basketball and host Oglethorpe. This time the game went to the home team as the Stormy Petrels knocked off the Colonels 94-91 in overtime.

Nolan Wahl made it a quick 11-0 lead for Centre before Oglethorpe first got on the board.
- Oglethorpe scored eight in a row to cut the Centre lead to two points with nine minutes left in the half, but the Colonels stemmed the tide as
Hunter Coleman nailed a three, followed by three bombs in a row from
Kalib Thomas to bring the lead back to double digits at 38-28.

- Over the next five minutes, Oglethorpe outscored Centre 9-1, with all nine points coming from the free throw line, to take a 69-65 edge. The Oglethorpe lead held until the 2:30 mark when
