Danville, KY - The 2026 SAA Swimming & Diving Championships kicked off on Wednesday inside Champions Hall. Centre came away with two school records, a top-4 sweep, and an overall lead in the men's competition.

Men's Diving kicked off the day with the 1-meter competition. Centre dominated from the start. The Colonels took the top 4 spots in prelims and 5 of the top 6. The momentum carried into the final and produced a thrilling finish. Justin Toth won the conference title with 514.10 points. Rowan Fitzsimmons came up just short on his final dive to finish 2nd with 513.15 points. Brandon Anderson finished 3rd at 454.90, while Garrett George was 4th with 453.55 points. Garrett Urash ended in 7th. As a result, diving contributed 89 team points to give the men the overall lead after day 1.

Night 1 was relay night for swimming. Centre's Men set the first school record of the night by swimming a time of 1:31.48 in the 200 medley relay, which placed 4th in the race. It marks the 2nd time this season a new record was set in the 200. The quartet of Cullen Roberts, Tiernan Moore, Jack Liau and Jackson Campbell now stake their claim to the mark that was previously broken at the Speedo Invitational back in November.

School record number two fell in the men's 800 medley relay. The foursome of Brady Miller, Jake Holmes, Gavin Schoeling, and Xavier Moore swam the event in 6:46.03, to break the old record by over eight-tenths of a second. In doing so, the Colonels finished a narrow 2nd to Trinity.

In the women's 200 medley relay, Centre "A" finished a strong 3rd with a time of 1:46.60, just over 2 seconds behind the winning Trinity team. Caroline Lee tied for the fastest leg of the race by going 23.14 as the anchor. Centre "B" won its final comprised of all the "B" teams with a final time of 1:47.75. Roya Sanai, Natalie Cox, Caroline Short, and Olivia Headley won the "B" final.

In the women's 800 medley relay, Centre finished 4th with a time of 7:50.47. The Colonels were in a 3-way fight for second the entire race with Berry and Rhodes as the three finished separated by less than 2 seconds.
