Senior Hayden Burns has been named the Southern Athletic Association (SAA) Men's Lacrosse Defensive Player of the week, Conference officials announced Monday. 

In centre's second home game, Burns had a dominant defensive performance playing the full 60 minutes, recording 15 saves which is a new season high, finishing the game with a 57.69 % save percentage. 

Burns and the colonels will travel to Columbus to take on the Capitals on March 7th at 1pm.
