Orlando, FL - In its 3rd match in as many days, Centre Women's Tennis took on St. Lawrence and suffered a 6-1 defeat.
Kennedy Herring and
Natalie Black picked up a win in #2 doubles, 6-3, but St. Lawrence took the other doubles matches to clinch the team point.
In singles, the Colonels struggled as well. St. Lawrence won the top 4 singles matches in straight sets.
Natalie Black went to a tiebreak in the first set of her match in #5 singles, but lost it, 4-7. She went on to drop the second set, 4-6.
Sara Dunn was another bright spot for Centre on the day as she grinded out a win in #6 singles. Dunn took the opening set, 6-4 and lost the second, 4-6. With the match going to a tiebreak in the 3rd, Dunn was able to come out on top with a 10-7 win for the Colonels' lone point of the day.
The Colonels will take Tuesday off before wrapping up the Florida trip with a matchup against Union College on Wednesday.
