Nithya Nunna led the group with an 81 (+9), showing steady play throughout.
Ceci Coccia followed closely with an 82 (+10), demonstrating similar consistency with frequent scores of 5 and a balanced round of 42 and 40.
Grace Vernon posted an 85 (+13), encountering some challenges, including a higher score on one hole, finishing with 42 on the front nine and 43 on the back.
Janie Morgan rounded out the group with an 89 (+17), highlighted by a few higher hole scores that impacted her total, finishing with 44 on the front and 45 on the back.
In Round 2 at The Dominion Club, it was an improvement for Janie Morgan as she led the group with a strong 76 (+4), showing the most consistent play of the round, which is a major improvement from her round 89.Â
Nithya Nunna followed with a 78 (+6), maintaining steady performance across both nines. Grace Vernon posted a 79 (+7), staying competitive with balanced scoring. Ceci Coccia recorded an 85 (+13), facing some challenges on the back nine, while Emerson Vaughn finished with an 86 (+14).Â
Final round at the Max and Susan Stith invite proved to be improvement opportunities for some and struggles for others, as Janie Morgan shot her lowest score of the tournament with a 75 (+3), putting together a steady and controlled round.
Grace Vernon followed with a 79 (+7), while Ceci Coccia added an 81 (+9). Emerson Vaughn came in with an 83 (+11), and Nithya Nunna struggled in the final round as she closed with an 86 (+14). As for the team, the Colonels were able to finish 12th out of 16 teams competing.Â
The Colonels will take the Greens at the Pahni Spring Intercollegiate on April 19th and 20th, their last tournament before the Conference tournament at the end of April.Â
