ATLANTA - The Southern Athletic Association released its preseason polls for men's outdoor track & field earlier today and defending league champion Centre was picked to finish second by the league's coaches.

Centre received 49 points to sit in second place in the poll, with two out of the eight first place votes. Trinity received the rest of the first place votes to make up the difference in the poll. During indoor season, the Centre men dominated on their home track from beginning to end, cruising to a repeat as conference champions.

The outdoor season for Centre will open on Mar. 21 as the Colonels travel to Emory.
