Danville, KY – Colonels attempted a late comeback but, in the end, fell to the Scots 18-8.
Wooster opens the period with strong offensive pressure, with Rowan Pilon having 2 goals, the first with a goal off an assist from Lizzie Hardy to open the scoring for the Scots.
Not even a minute later, Hardy added her own goal, Pilons' second goal of the quarter came moments later, giving the Scots a 3-0 advantage early.
The Colonels managed to break through late in the quarter when
Riley Jackson scored with less than 36 seconds left, cutting the deficit to 4-1.
Centre made some adjustments at the start of the second quarter, with
Sophia Richardson scoring within the early minutes to shift the momentum the colonels' way.
Wooster responded midway through the quarter with a goal from Lizzie Hardy off an assist from Cassidy Driscoll, pushing the lead to 5-2.
Centre faced multiple penalties to give Wooster a man-up advantage, where Nicole McCalla scored off an assist from Pilon, pushing the lead out further.
Wooster continued to produce a strong offensive pressure as Sophia Mellis scored, with Hardy following with another man-up goal to put the lead at 8-2.

Sophia Richardson managed to find the back of the net 5 seconds before the half, to close the hat on a momentum build.
That into the half momentum, quickly burned out as Wooster started the period with Mizan Jacobs scoring after a forced turnover, with Hardy adding another man-up goal.
it was another costly multiple penalties for Centre, as Wooster went on a three-goal scoring surge. The Colonels were able to briefly stop the run when Richardson was able to get a goal, cutting into the gap.
Colonels came out in the fourth quarter with a quick push, scoring three straight goals to cut into the deficit, with the first two goals coming off
Riley Jackson, with
Audrey Haines shortly after converting a man-up free position.
Wooster responded midway to regain control, with two goals within 30 seconds of each other. Centre was able to add one more man-up goal from
Audrey Haines, narrowing the score to 16-8. The Scots were able to close out the game with 2 more goals, closing the game with the Colonels falling 18-8.
