SAA Conference Men's Lacrosse Honorees

Danville, KY – SAA Men's Lacrosse All-Conference awards were released by officials on Tuesday at 1pm, and your Centre Men's Lacrosse team had award honorees across the board.

Ryan Black was named SAA All-Conference 1st team Attack, as he has led the team in every major offensive category, with 36 goals, 20 assists, and 56 points. His 36 goals ranked him third in the SAA, while his 20 assists and 56 points ranked fourth and second, respectively. A consistent standout, he earned Second Team honors in each of the previous three seasons before breaking through to first team this year.

Ben Hubbs was named SAA All-Conference 1st team Midfield, as he is ranked second on the team with 29 goals and added 36 total points, placing him eighth in the SAA in goals. After earning Honorable Mention in 2025, he elevated his way to First Team status this season.

Patrick Tatro was named SAA All-Conference 1st team defense, as he anchored a dominant defensive unit that allowed 22 fewer goals than any other team in the SAA. He led the team with 49 ground balls (eighth in the conference) and added 13 caused turnovers. Previously a two-time Second Team Selection, he earned First Team Recognition this year.

Max Moldenhauer was named SAA All-Conference 2nd team Long-Stick Midfield, as he is third on the team with 22 ground balls, and earned his first career SAA postseason honor.

Holden Techet was named SAA All-Conference 2nd team Short-Stick Midfield, as he record 21 ground balls, ranking fourth on the team, and earned his second consecutive All- SAA honor after being named to the Second Team in 2024.

Mac Shafer was named SAA All-Conference 2nd team Defense, as he contributed 16 ground balls and 5 caused turnovers while playing a key role on the defensive unit. he was previously a First Team selection in 2025.

Hayden Burns was named SAA All-Conference 2nd team Goalie, as he was one of only two goalies in the SAA to allow fewer than 10 goals per game and ranked 3rd in the conference with a .539 save percentage. After earning First Team honors in 2025, he followed up with another strong campaign.

Nick Witcher was named to the SAA All-Sportsmanship team for his exemplary conduct on and off the field for the Colonels.
