Danville, Ky. - Scotty Brown '24 is continuing his journey in the professional football ranks.

The former Centre wide receiver is currently playing for the Cottbus Crayfish of GFL3, the third tier of American professional football in Germany. He joined the club after a 2025 stint with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers of the Canadian Football League.

Brown was a key force in Centre's 2024 run to a shared SAA title and berth in the NCAA Division III Playoffs. The Bowling Green native caught 48 passes for 520 yards and 8 touchdowns as the Colonels finished the season with an 8-3 record. He also was a special teams standout, averaging 21.1 yards on kick returns and 7.5 yards on punts. Brown earned All-SAA Honorable Mention at the end of the season.

He earned the same honor in 2023 after finishing with 39 catches for 395 yards and 5 TDs to go with 17.8 yards per kick return and 16.1 yards per punt return. In total, Brown finished his Centre career with 109 catches for 1143 yards and 18 touchdowns.

His best individual game at Centre came on September 21, 2024, when he caught 9 passes for 160 yards and 2 touchdowns and had a 43-yard kickoff return against Hampden-Sydney.

This season, Brown is part of a Cottbus Crayfish team that currently holds a 3-3 record in its 2026 season.
