DANVILLE, Ky. - D3football.com has released its preseason All-American squads ahead of the 2026 football season and Centre's Cree Ross was named to the preseason All-America Third Team as a return specialist after receiving the same honor following the 2025 season.

Ross was voted the SAA Special Teams Player of the Year by the league's coaches after a breakthrough junior campaign that was the greatest season by a return specialist in program history and followed that up by being named Second Team All-Region 6 by D3football.com.

In 2025 the four-time track & field All-American led all of Division III with three kickoff return touchdowns, running back kicks for scores against Millsaps, Trinity and Sewanee. Ross was named SAA Special Teams Player of the Week twice during the season after his first two return touchdowns.
