On Tap
- Centre hits the road for Memphis, Tenn., to take on Southern Athletic Association rival Rhodes.

Series History
- Centre has a 48-23-2 edge over Rhodes in the all-time series and has won each of the last five meetings against the Lynx, scoring 237 points across those five contests.
- In last year's contest in Memphis, the Colonels defeated the Lynx behind 315 passing yards and four touchdowns from Tanner Young, who earned SAA Offensive Player of the Week honors after the game.
- In addition, Cal Lewellyn earned a spot on the D3football.com National Team of the Week after forcing two Rhodes turnovers.

The Last Meeting
Centre 41, Rhodes 14 (10.20.18)
- Centre scored the first 21 points of the game and never looked back, led by the aforementioned four-touchdown performance from Young.
- Ten different Colonels caught passes from Young and John Walton, and as a unit the Centre offense racked up 485 yards.
- Rhodes' QB PJ Settles entered the game as the SAA's leader in total offense, but was largely held in check by the Colonel defense. The Lynx crossed midfield on just four drives, scoring on only one of those possessions.
- Lewellyn had a forced fumble and interception in the win, adding five tackles.

Last Time Out
Birmingham-Southern 38, Centre 21 (10.26.19)
- Birmingham-Southern ran wild a week ago in Farris Stadium, recording 431 yards on the ground en route to a 38-21 victory against the Colonels. Robert Shufford paced the Panthers and earned SAA Offensive Player of the Week honors with 281 rushing yards and three scores.
- The Panthers scored a pair of third quarter touchdowns to create separation in what was a one-possession game for most of the first half.
- Centre's quarterbacks, Walton and Clark Payne, each tossed a touchdown pass for the Colonels, as Jordan Gunter amassed a career-high 123 yards on eight catches and a score.
- Andre Evans set a personal best with 11 tackles, as he and Jaylen Jones each had seven solo stops.

Scouting the Lynx
- Rhodes enters Saturday's matchup with a 1-6 overall record and a 1-4 mark in conference play.
- The lone victory for the Lynx this season came on Sept. 28 with a 14-3 win over the Sewanee Tigers.
- The problems for the Lynx have come largely on offense, as Rhodes ranks at the bottom of the SAA in nearly every offensive statistical category. The Lynx have also been shut out three times this season, most recently at Hendrix on Oct. 5.
- Linebacker Tony Heyward has been the most productive player on defense for the Lynx, leading the team with 51 tackles, including 4.5 tackles for loss and a pair of sacks and fumble recoveries.

Next Week
- The Colonels will wrap up their regular season on Nov. 9 as they host the Berry Vikings on Senior Day.
- Centre won the first two matchups over Berry when the Vikings reinstated football, but Berry has won the last three contests in the series.
- Last year's contest at Farris Stadium was one of the best Division III football games of the season, with the Vikings prevailing 38-35 over the Colonels in an overtime thriller.
- Both Berry and Centre shared the SAA regular season championship a season ago and advanced to the NCAA Playoffs, where they made the round of 16.
