Deem-Ranzetta and Daniels earn first USC All-Region VI honors

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Juniors Finnegan Deem-Ranzetta and AJ Daniels were each named to United Soccer Coaches (USC) 2024 NCAA Division III Men's All-Region VI teams, the organization announced Tuesday.   
 
Deem-Ranzetta earned Second Team honors, which is his first-ever USC honor. The junior defender had four goals, which was good for the second best on the team, and scored a game-winning goal over SAA regular-season champion Rhodes. He also tallied one assist. He was named First Team All-SAA and was awarded a spot on the CSC Academic All-District Men's Soccer Team. 

Daniels notched a Third Team placement, marking his first honor from the USC organization. The junior was an All-SAA First Team honoree, which was his first all-conference honor. The Kennesaw, Ga. native had a team-leading 10 points. He notched four goals and added two assists over 18 games.  

The Colonels ended the 2024 campaign 11-4-3 overall and 2-2-2 in SAA play. Centre was the no. 5 seed in the SAA Tournament and picked up a 2-0 upset win over No. 4 seed Berry in the quarterfinal. The season came to an end with a 1-0 loss in double overtime to Rhodes. A total of six Centre men's soccer players were honored as All-SAA and the team had three Colonels earn Academic All-District honors.
