SEWANEE, Tenn.- The Colonels traveled to Tennessee for their regular season finale against Southern Athletic Association's (SAA) Sewanee. Although a strong opening quarter, Centre women's lacrosse fell to the Tigers by a score of 20-7.
GAME HIGHLIGHTS
- The Tigers initiated the game with two goals back-to-back, but
Haley Rice put Centre on the board and simultaneously kick started a 4-0 scoring run for the Colonels. Rice netted three of the four points while
Isa Stumpf claimed one during a woman-up situation. Sewanee hit back with a trio of shots to close the frame and take a 5-4 lead.
- Sewanee created distance in the second quarter, blanking the Colonels 9-0 to lead by ten entering the halftime break.
- Rice opened the second half's scoring, simultaneously taking the game out of running clock but in the next possession, the Tigers answered. Sewanee scored three more goals before the end of the frame while the Colonels found one in
Gracie Garner. Entering the fourth quarter, Sewanee led 18-6.
- The Tigers scored three unbroken goals before
Colleen Stahl closed the contest's scoring with a woman-up goal. When the clock ran out, the score read 20-7, the Tigers favoring.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
- Rice led the Colonels in goals with four. Garner, Stahl, and Stumpf each found themselves in the scoring column with one goal apiece.

Elizabeth Mitchell fronted Centre in both ground balls and caused turnovers with two each.
