Canton, GA - Seniors Carlie Mitchell and Grace Williams have been named the Southern Athletic Association Doubles Athletes of the Week, as announced by conference officials on Tuesday.

In #2 singles against Asbury last Wednesday, the tandem cruised to a 6-2 victory. On Sunday against Campbellsville, the team moved up to the #1 doubles match and dominated again by winning 6-1.

Williams was also noted for her singles performance against Campbellsville, in which she won, 6-2, 6-1, in the #1 slot.

The pair will look to keep the momentum going on Saturday when the Colonels make a short trip north to take on Georgetown College. The action starts at 1:00pm.
