Sarah Green-Robinson

Earned four varsity letters in women's basketball and also lettered in track and field as a senior.
 

As a freshman, Sarah was named to the All-SCAC Second-Team, while garnering First-Team acclaim in her junior and senior seasons.  Sarah earned the admiration and respect of her coaches and teammates as she was named the team’s most outstanding player in as a sophomore in 1999-2000 and then again in her senior season in 2001-02. Sarah had a knack for playing her best for the Colonels in big games, earning All-Tournament honors on five separate occasions. Sarah was also a member of the All-South Region Third Team in both 1998-98 and 2001-02.

At the time of her graduation, Sarah ranked fourth in program history with 1,252 career points (a career average of 13.5 ppg) and second all-time in rebounds with 740 (8.0 rpg), trailing only then-assistant coach  Wendie Austin-Robinson '94. To this day, Sarah is still the sixth all-time leading scorer and fourth all-time leading rebounder for Centre women’s basketball. Sarah was the leading scorer and rebounder on the 2000-01 Centre squad that won the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference and advanced to the NCAA Sweet 16, snapping a ten-year postseason drought for the Colonels. A career 48% shooter, Green-Robinson helped the 2001 Colonels rank eighth in the nation in field goal percentage.

During her one season with the track & field program, Sarah was a member of two school record-setting relay squads: the distance medley relay (13:18.26) and the sprint medley relay (1:34.13). Sarah was a member of the 4x100 relay team that earned a third-place finish at the 2002 SCAC Championships, clocking a time of 52.8 seconds.
